Carmen López is a dynamic security professional with over two decades of experience in the medical industry. Armed with a degree in Computer Engineering and bolstered by several certifications including CISM and HCISPP, she has spent the last 20 years at a prominent medical company.  

She has dedicated most of her career to privacy initiatives, ensuring the secure handling of sensitive data. Since transitioning to security in 2016, as a member of the Product Security Office, she works to fortify digital defenses against evolving threats, implementing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Carmen’s passion for privacy and security extends beyond the workplace. She is actively involved in industry organizations and community outreach programs, advocating for greater awareness and education on cybersecurity best practices.
